Simultaneously, Invenergy and energyRe announced the formation of an investor consortium composed of: Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, CDPQ, FirstLight Power, and Ullico Infrastructure Fund. Stake percentages among the five consortium members (Invenergy, energyRe, Blackstone, CDPQ, FirstLight, Ullico) were not publicly disclosed. The project was later branded "Leading Light Wind" and a 2,400 MW proposal was submitted to New Jersey BPU in 2023. In January 2024, NJ BPU approved the application for the 2,400 MW Leading Light Wind project (submitted by Invenergy Wind Offshore LLC). No subsequent farmdown or secondary stake sale found as of February 2026. EUR figure at the ECB 2022-02 monthly average (0.8817 EUR per USD).
