RWE Innogy agreed in March 2014 to sell a 10% share of Gwynt y Môr, an unincorporated joint venture, to the UK Green Investment Bank; GIB put the purchase price at GBP 220m, to be paid once construction was complete. RWE funded the build. Its company holding the 10% sold that share of the export cables to the OFTO on 17 February 2015, and on 30 October 2015, with the farm finished, GIB's Offshore Wind Fund bought the company for GBP 189.3m in cash (shares and shareholder loan), per its audited accounts. The stake passed to Macquarie with GIB in 2017. After the deal: RWE 50%, Stadtwerke München 30%, Siemens 10%, GIB 10%. EUR figure at the ECB 2014-03 monthly average.

Dashed tick marks today (13 Oct 2026). The teal diamond on the spine is origination — the seabed award or round that created the project. Every other ownership event lives in the band below: one station per recorded deal, dated at its label, in deal order rather than to calendar scale. Secondary trades appear only at the interchanges; grey lines are parties whose entry or exit Hafrok’s record does not hold.

A built project sells its power under the contract or support regime it was financed with; it is not expected to bid into new government offtake rounds. Where the record does not yet name that regime, the row says so rather than guessing.
