Ørsted sold 50% of Hornsea Two (Hornsea Two Holdings Limited, owner of the three farm companies) to a consortium of AXA IM Alts and Crédit Agricole Assurances, through Juno BidCo Limited. Signed 28 March 2022 while the farm was being built; completed on 29 September 2022 once it was commissioned. Ørsted put the total value of the transaction at GBP 3bn; the buyer's audited accounts record GBP 1,179.8m for 50% of the shares and GBP 1,635.1m of shareholder loans taken over, GBP 2,814.9m in all. The buyers financed their purchase partly with bank loans in their own company. The export cables were sold to the OFTO in 2023. EUR figure at the ECB 2022-03 monthly average.

From Hafrok’s transactions record
Dashed tick marks today (13 Oct 2026). The teal diamond on the spine is origination — the seabed award or round that created the project. Every other ownership event lives in the band below: one station per recorded deal, dated at its label, in deal order rather than to calendar scale. Secondary trades appear only at the interchanges; grey lines are parties whose entry or exit Hafrok’s record does not hold.
